As a service to our patients, we provide “presumptive MediCal” to patients who (1) have no other insurance, and (2) meet the income criteria prescribed by the state.

This plan does not cover your hospital bill for the delivery.  It does, however, cover your office visits, ultrasound exams and blood tests.  You have up to two months to apply for other insurance, such as regular MediCal.
